Shaken Not Burned

Climate, society, sustainability literacy and transforming our world

Welcome to another week of Shaken Not Burned!

Or, well, a week off for us. We are hitting pause for a bit as Giulia packs up her life to move from London to Italy, and Felicia is taking a breather while working on some new ideas for next year.

Season 4 has been a blast, thank you for listening, sharing and helping us grow. We’ll be back in September with season 5 and we hope you’ll join us again.

Next season, we’ll be diving deeper into what it means to stay grounded, informed, and resilient in a time of extraordinary upheaval – and opportunity. Shaken Not Burned will be a reliable guide through the evolving sustainability landscape.

Climate change, biodiversity loss, rising inequality, economic volatility, and geopolitical shifts that are converging to create what many now call a polycrisis.

In this uncertain landscape, sustainability literacy is no longer a niche interest, but a critical skillset, one that empowers people to make sense of complex change and lead transformative action across all sectors. Our goal is to make it accessible, engaging, and relevant for anyone navigating today’s volatile landscape.

Grounded in systems thinking, real-world stories, and expertise, we’ll help you understand what’s happening and, perhaps more importantly, what can be done about it.
